# Impuesto de Primera Categoría (IDPC)

El Impuesto de Primera Categoría es un tributo que se aplica a las actividades del capital clasificadas en el [artículo 20](https://www.bcn.cl/leychile/navegar?idNorma=6368\&idParte=8656046) de la Ley sobre Impuesto a la Renta, tales como actividades industriales, comerciales, agrícolas, prestaciones de servicios, extractivas, entre otras.

El SII mediante algunos de sus [Oficios SII](/chile/oficios-sii.md), ha dado la guía de cómo deben declararse algunos tipos particulares de movimientos de criptomonedas, bajo el impuesto de primera categoría deberás declarar los siguientes tipos de operaciones:

Debes tener en cuenta que si bien, las personas declaran generalmente bajo el Impuesto Global Complementario, hay cierto tipo de operaciones las cuales el SII establece que deben primeramente declararse bajo impuestos generales, o sea, primera categoría, para luego considerarse dentro del [Impuesto Global Complementario (IGC)](/chile/impuestos-cripto/que-tengo-que-declarar/impuesto-global-complementario-igc.md) o Impuesto Adicional según corresponda.
